Trend of the Week: Titans vs. Colts

Bet teams on a road trip that are off a loss with favorable line movement.

Tennessee is on a winning streak. It might just be two games but the franchise hasn’t enjoyed back-to-back wins since 2013. If Tennessee wins Sunday and the Texans lose to the Broncos on Monday then the Titans will be in first place in the division.

The Colts are struggling. Indy lost 26-23 in overtime to Houston on Sunday night. Andrew Luck has played well (11 touchdown, 4 interceptions) despite being sacked a league-high 23 times. The team can get back on the right track with a win and the Colts have never lost to Tennessee in the Andrew Luck era (amazingly one win came with Josh Freeman and Ryan Lindley playing quarterback for the team).

This game might not be sexy, but it is important in determining the winner of the AFC South.

The Colts aren’t underdogs very often to the Titans. The majority of the bets and money have come in on Tennessee to cover. This is a contrarian betting system that goes against the public and the line movement (Titans opened -2, now favored by three points). Indy hasn’t looked good but it is time to buy back on Luck and the Colts.

This system has been profitable in 11 straight seasons. Betting teams on a road trip that are off a loss with favorable line movement have gone 161-91 (63.9% ATS), +63.7 units.

Current System Picks

The Colts are in the cellar of the AFC South after blowing a 14 point lead on Sunday Night Football to the Texans. Tennessee is favored for the first time over Indy since 2012. Go against the public and the line movement, back the Colts plus the points.
