Miami beat Cleveland 106-98; it was the Heat’s second win over the Cavs in three nights. Miami is now just a game out of the 8th spot in the East after winning 19 of their last 23 games ,which includes victories against the Warriors, Rockets and of course the Cavs.

Gordon Hayward scored 23 points and had a sick block on James Harden, the Rockets shot 8 of 32 from behind the arc and Utah upset Houston115-108. It was the fourth straight win for the Jazz.

Jimmy Butler scored 22 points and the Bulls beat the Warriors 94-87 in Golden State’s first game without Kevin Durant. The game was nationally televised on TNT. Fun fact: Chicago has won 18 straight games when playing on Thursday night on TNT.

Dirk Nowitzki joins exclusive NBA club by scoring 30,000 points. Only five other players had accomplished the feat in league history. After 19 seasons with the Mavericks, Dirk plans to return for a 20th.

The Knicks decided to try an experiment by not playing any music, video or other in-game entertainment for the first half of Sunday’s game against the Warriors. After the Warriors won 112-105 the general consensus was that players did not like the experience. It is unlikely another team will go without music again anytime soon.

“I heard it break,” said LeBron. Andrew Bogut’s debut with the Cavs didn’t last long. He has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a fractured left tibia. Cleveland will waive the big man to free up a roster spot.
