In the first game of the 2017 NBA Playoffs, the Cleveland Cavaliers escaped the Indiana Pacers 109-108. It was a shaky performance after an up-and-down regular season. Yet, a win is a win and that is all LeBron does in the 1st Round.
LeBron James-led teams have now won 18 straight 1st Round games (12-6 ATS). James hasn’t lost in the 1st Round of the playoffs since 2012. Per Elias Sports Bureau, he is tied with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for fifth longest such streak.

LeBron’s teams have never lost an opening series (11-0). The four-time MVP has gone 45-7 straight-up in first-round games. Betting on the King in these games has been highly profitable. LeBron is 33-19 (63.5%) ATS in 1st Round series.
The Cavs star will look to continue his dominance of the 1st Round tonight. Cleveland is a 8.5 point favorite over Indiana in Game 2.
