Biggest Money-line Upsets

SMU (+1102) vs. Houston

Houston coach Tom Herman made fun of SMU, the Mustangs got the last laugh. It was the first win for SMU over a ranked team in five years and just the fourth against Houston in 20 tries.

Penn State (+644) vs. Ohio State

Grant Haley returned a blocked field goal 60 yards for a touchdown as the Nittany Lions upset No. 2 Ohio State 24-21. It was the first win for Penn State against the Buckeyes since 2011. It was the first win for coach James Franklin over a ranked team and first for the program over a top-five team since 1999 (per ESPN Stats & Info).

North Texas (+629) at Army

Quarterback Jeffrey Wilson threw three touchdowns and rushed for 160 yards as Mean Green stunned Army 35-18. Stat of the game: 7 turnovers for the Black Knights, one for North Texas.

Hawaii (+549) at Air Force

Dru Brown connected with Marcus Kemp for a 25-yard touchdown on the first play of the second overtime. Jalen Rogers’ interception on fourth down clinched a 34-27 victory for Hawaii over Air Force. The Falcons lost at home for the first time since 2013.

Undefeated

Colorado has lost twice but remains unbeaten against-the-spread (8-0) this season. The Buffaloes are the only team in the country to cover the spread every week. The Buffs are bowl eligible and in the conversation for the Pac-12 title after winning just one conference game last season. Is it time to start taking Colorado serious?
