The 2017 NBA Draft will take place this Thursday at 7 pm ET at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Many prospects are hoping to hear their names called but where will they be taken? Here are some of the biggest names and prop bets on when they will be drafted.
The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers completed a trade that will send the No. 1 overall pick to Philly. The Sixers are expected to select Markelle Fultz. The Washington guard is a resounding favorite to be taken No. 1.
No. 1 Overall Pick?
- Markelle Fultz -8000
- Lonzo Ball +1800
- Josh Jackson +2500
- Jayson Tatum +4000
- Dennis Smith +10000
- Lauri Markkanen +20000
Fultz, Ball and Jackson are +110 to go 1, 2, 3 with the first picks in the draft. The Field (-140) is the favorite to insert some drama into the proceedings.
De’Aaron Fox is a player that could potentially crash the top 3. There is buzz the Lakers are interested in the Kentucky guard at No. 2.
In fact another NBA scout that I deeply trust thinks De'Aaron Fox, over time, will be best overall guard in class.

It is even money that Fox will go in the top four.
Danny Ainge said he believes the player the Celtics would have taken with the top pick will be available at No. 3. Some think this means Jayson Tatum is Boston bound.

The betting market implies there is a 63.6% chance Tatum goes 4th or higher.
Phil Jackson is listening to trade talks for Kristaps Porzingis and is considering drafting Lauri Markkanen as a replacement. Will the 7-footer be available at No. 8? Odds say “yes”.
The Knicks are also considering French guard Frank Ntilikina.
The Knicks have had a scout in Europe babysitting Frank Ntilikina. As of now, he's their man.

Ntilikina is -1400 to be the first international player selected in the draft.
Justin Jackson was key to UNC’s National Championship run. There is a good case he could be a lottery pick.

With endless rumors and potential trades, expect these odds to continue changing leading up to the draft. While it is impossible to predict the exact draft order these odds give us a good idea on when a player will be selected.
