It is Championship Week and every major conference tournament is about to tip off. With automatic bids to the NCAA tournament on the line we have simulated each conference tournament 10,000 times using the Bracket Simulator to determine the most likely winner(s).

When: March 8-11th

Where: Kansas City, MO

The automatic bid goes to: West Virginia (32.5%)

WVU isn’t the betting favorite but there isn’t much that separates the Mountaineers from Kansas. West Virginia thumped Bill Self’s squad in Morgantown and would have had the regular season sweep if it weren’t for a huge collapse and an overtime loss in Allen Fieldhouse. Press-Virginia is real and it bothers KU.

And if they lose: Kansas (28.0%)

Kansas has won 13 straight Big 12 regular season championships but during that run the Jayhawks have won just seven conference tournament titles. KU is good but they are beatable.

Teams with Value

Which teams are offering value to win the Big 12 tournament?

Baylor +550: The 3-seeded Bears are underpriced. Baylor has six wins against ranked opponents this season and is top 25 in both offensive and defensive efficiency.

Oklahoma State +1800: In kenpom’s rankings the Cowboys have the top offense in the country. At +1800, there is value betting Ok State to shoot their way to a title.
