The Warriors set a new record with 73 wins in a season. Kobe Bryant ended his career with a 60-point performance out of nowhere. The 76ers are….um, they are still a franchise in the NBA. The NBA regular season is over, and while I’m excited for the playoffs as much as anyone, let’s first take a look back at the regular season in terms of the gambling world. (All line information comes from Pinnacle)
Here is the graph for money won for as the spread ranges from the largest favorite (-22) to the largest dog (+22).
That green range towards the end illustrates that dogs of 12.5 or more went 68-51 against the spread and won bettors 14.3 units. There is also a green pocket to the left of the zero. Teams that were favored between 2 and 5.5 points went 270-226 against the spread and won bettors 30.4 units.

The Nuggets and Timberwolves both won over ten units on the moneyline despite having losing records. If you bet $100 for the Warriors to win every one of their games, you only would have made nine units despite them setting an NBA record for wins.
